For Sale:
1992 Porsche 911 Turbo
Vehicle History:
I bought the car in 2005 from my older brother. He bought the car in Thousand Oaks, California. Car was originally sold at Carlsen Porsche in Palo Alto, CA. When he bought the car in 2000 it had 23k miles on it and was completely stock. I bought the car it had 49K miles on it. So you can see I just don't drive it enough to keep it. This car is in excellent condition. Runs and drives fantastic. No issues at all with this car. Motor has absolutely no leaks.
I have a ton of receipts, original window sticker, books etc... and a clean and clear title. Sticker was $102869.00
Motor was just removed due to oil leaks. Upon inspection I decided to reseal the motor. The motor was torn down leaving the heads and cam housings intact. Everything from this point out was resealed. Of course it didn't all need to be done but it was the first time the motor was out and I wanted to be sure that the car would be 100% when I finished.
I did more than the standard reseal. All parts were completely cleaned, all sheet metal was media blasted and dropped off at Crown Autobody to get repainted in standard Porsche black. The valve covers and fan were also done but in a dark grey color. Fan housing and strap were done in black.
Here is a short list of items done while motor was out.
I replaced all the intake studs (plating was starting to come off) and gaskets and all related items. Injector seals etc.
Chain housings where removed, all chain rails where replaced. Cam timing was set exactly to spec.
Bench clean injectors, Cleaned entire intake.
Replace all intercooler seals and rubber mounts.
All new chain tensioner oil lines replaced.
Resealed scavenge pump
New Porsche oil return tubes here installed.
Breather assembly and all sensors were resealed.
Oil feed line to turbo was replaced. Oil Suction line replaced.
New RS lightweight clutch package installed. Flywheel as well.
Reinforced engine mount. (Stock mounts tend to twist at mounting locations; we box them in for added strength)
